What are the conference and exposition hours?

Wednesday, February 4
Conference: 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Registration

How do I register?
It's easy! Just click REGISTER or download a registration form.

What does it cost to attend?
Before January 15, 2009 $39.00 per person.
After January 15, 2009 $55.00 per person.

What does my registration fee include?
Admission to the New England Grows exposition and educational sessions for all three days. There is no separate "exhibits only" or "per day" fee.

When will registration be open at the convention center?
Wednesday, February 4 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Thursday, February 5 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Friday, February 6 7:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Will I receive confirmation?
Confirmation will be sent to the e-mail address you provide.

I registered but haven't received a confirmation. How do I check on my registration?
Confirmation cannot be sent if you did not provide an email address. You may confirm your registration by contacting New England Grows at info@NEGrows.org, or 508.653.3009, during regular business hours (8 a.m. – 4 p.m. ET).

I registered a group of people and we received one confirmation email. Is everyone registered to attend?
One confirmation email will be sent to group registrations received via fax or regular mail.

How do I register with a Purchase Order?
Registrations paid for with a purchase order must be faxed or mailed. Print and return this registration form to:

I am a full-time student. Is there a special rate?
Full-time college or high school students and instructors studying horticulture or arboriculture will be admitted on a complimentary basis. Educators who plan to bring high school students must contact the New England Grows office no later than January 2, 2009 to make student registration arrangements.

I'm signed up to take an exam, or attend a special meeting, during New England Grows. Do I have to register?
Yes, anyone who is attending any allied meeting, function or training session at the convention center during New England Grows must be registered.

Are children allowed to attend?
New England Grows is not recommended for children under the age of 16. In the event that bringing a child is unavoidable, a $5.00 badge-processing fee will be assessed. Children under the age of 18 are not allowed on the exposition floor during move-in and move-out hours.

If I need to cancel my registration will I be refunded?
All cancellations must be received in writing. Cancellations postmarked on, or before January 15, 2009 will receive a full refund. It is not possible to comply with refund requests received after January 15, 2009, however you may send someone in your place. That person must have the badge name changed on-site at the Badge Corrections counter. No telephone cancellations will be accepted.

Who is invited to attend New England Grows?
New England Grows is a conference and exposition designed specifically for the green industry. Green industry professionals, educators, students and members of allied professions are invited to attend.

Education

Do I need to register for the educational sessions?
Your registration includes admission to the expositon and educational sessions for all three days. There is no separate registration process. Seating at educational sessions is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

What is a Master Class?
Master Classes are scheduled for Wednesday, February 4, 2009. These sessions are designed to provide experienced green industry professionals with a fresh perspective on best practices and emerging trends from experts inside and outside the green industry. Everyone is invited to attend.

Where can I find information about recertification credits?
Check out the many recertification opportunities here.

I want to attend two sessions at the same time and receive recertification credit for both. Is this possible?
No. To receive CEU credit, you are required to attend the entire session.
If you leave an educational session and get scanned at a second session during the same time period, the first session for which you were scanned will immediately be voided.

Is there a way I can get information for sessions I am not able to attend?
Most of the sessions will be audio recorded. Audio recording CDs will be available for sale at the New England Grows Bookstore. In addition, speaker handouts (when available) can be found at the kiosk at Great Ideas pavilion.

Will there be any opportunities to meet with speakers after their sessions?
Some speakers will participate in a Speakers' Unplugged session following their presentation. This is an informal discussion, and question and answer period, held outside Ballrooms on the third level.

How can I purchase books written by your speakers?
Many of our speakers have authored books. Most of their publications will be available for sale at the New England Grows Bookstore on the exposition store and some speakers will be signing books.

Hotel & Travel

Where can I stay? What are the rates? What is the discount deadline for a room? Is there any penalty for canceling a reservation?

Will shuttle service be provided during the show? Where can I park?
